Evan Bare
Industrial Designer Evan Bare started his studio, 608 Design Inc, in 2007. The plan was to experiment with ideas that fused craftsmanship and technology. 3D CAD is used to design engineer products with the intent of incorporating added functionality in unused spaces. He creates knock down style upholstery and architectural products with sustainably-minded thinking at their core. The difference is in the details. When developing ideas, Evan envisions a product from the inside out. Each design is a refined formula that considers ergonomic proportion, durability and material consumption. Today, his ideas are heavily influenced by Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian design while complimented by traditional-meets-digital wood joinery.
