It all began in 2021 with the release of Flo’s debut offerings, the Flo Chair and Table Series. This first and still-beloved Flo offering quickly garnered industry demand and accolades, taking home the Nightingale GOLD Award at the HCD Conference + Expo just months after its launch. A welcome departure from traditionally industrial-looking Behavioral Health furniture, Flo offers beautiful organic lines and a soothing color palette, providing a calming aesthetic that invites users to relax while dining safely in an intensive use space.

The chair and tables in the Flo series feature a rotationally molded one-piece base offering superior durability and cleanability, and can be ballasted or bolted to the floor to suit environmental needs. The Flo dining chair is ergonomically designed to enhance user comfort and safety, featuring high back support with rounded edges throughout. Table tops in the series include a seamless laminated surface with a molded polyurethane edge to resist picking, and are assembled using a multi-core composite construction with encapsulated fasteners for superior strength. The Flo Bed and Bedside Collection joined the product line in 2023, again redefining new standards for Behavioral Health furniture – this time, specifically for patient bedrooms. Stance continued Flo’s evolution in 2024 with the release of Flo Lounge, a natural extension of the Chair and Table series. Designed for an easy, efficient clean, Flo Lounge is stain-resistant, seamless, and features curved edges that mean the product is not only easier to clean, but safer for staff to maneuver around.

The Lounge collection, which took home the 2024 Nightingale GOLD Award for Behavioral Health Furnishings at the HCD Awards, offers beautiful organic lines, a soothing color palette, and subtle safety elements, including rounded corners and edges.
